Summer is here and its time to cool down in the sun. This super easy and healthier alternative to ice cream, frozen banana popsicles are quick and refreshing on a summer day you’re craving something cold, but not too unhealthy.

Dip half a banana in dark dairy free melted chocolate, sprinkle over some coconut shavings, sea salt or chopped up peanuts and let set in the freezer for a few hours – Enjoy

  • Bananas
  • Sticks
  • 1 plate of dark dairy free chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut fat
  • Topping such as sea salt, coconut shavings and peanuts

  1. Half the bananas and put them halfway on a stick
  2. Melt some dark dairy free chocolate, (I normally use 70% or 85%), together with the coconut fat in a heatproof bowl over a water bath on low to medium heat 
  3. Dip the bananas in the chocolate a couple of times
  4. Put them on a greaseproof paper in a sealed box or container
  5. Sprinkle over your desired topping
  6. Let set in the freezer for a few hours
